Okay guys just a reminder that if I am not at the club or I am not the last one out then there are a few tasks that need to be done before you go home.

This reminder stems from rubbish being left at the club on two seperate occasions when I have left early or as was the case last week was not there. I have also noted that the terrain cupboard doors have been left off on a few occasions.

As expected the Scouts where not pleased with this as it is the responsibility of all sections that use the hall to clean up after themselves.

If I can not trust others to do this in my absense then the only course of action is for the club to close as soon as I am ready to leave or not at all if I am not there. Two outcomes I would not want to impose.

So tasks that need to be completed before the club is closed.

Personal Responsility.

If you drink from a cup or eat off a plate, you dam well wash it. It is unfair that it falls to the conscious few to clean your crap up at the end of the night and have to plough through a mound of washing up.

If you cook in the kitchen you bin your rubbish, wash any utensils you use, and leave the kitchen area tidy.

Any painting equipment you use is washed and put away.

End of the night tasks

These jobs must be done beofre the club is closed.

All washed dishes and utensils are way.

All open food that is left is binned (do not put it in the cupboard is just goes off).

The floor is swept.

Any rubbish is removed from the hall, as the last man out you must take responsibility for its disposal.

I will make a special note of large boxes as on the odd occasion when someone has brought a delivery of games, etc, to the club they have left the large box at the hall, and I have ended up disposing of it.......this is out of order, and is soley your responsibility.

These issues have and I am sure will be raised again but everyone needs to be made aware of them. Comments are welcome.

I never level these issues at any particular person as they are every members responsibily.
